Kia ora, for the past week we have been doing a response to text. The first thing we needed to do was read the text and then answer some questions about it. My favorite part was doing the story mountain. My least favorite part was doing the diary entry because it was so hard, but I keep pushing through and in the end I got it done.               HERE IS AND IMAGE OF MY DIARY ENTRY

Kia ora last week we had to read a play and answer a few questions. The play was called Like, Subscribe And share. My favorite part of the play was when the kids told the adults off for being on their phones too much. What I thought was challenging was answering all of the questions correctly. What I thought I could do better next time is try to complete all of the slides. What I think I did well was answer some of the questions correctly and quite fast.

MY MUSIC !!!!!

Kia ora, for the past three weeks in Te Ngahere we have been learning how to make music. First we had to get into groups of 3, then we had to learn how to right different music notes, an eighth note sounds like TA-DI, and a quarter note that sounds like TA. After we figured out how to right music notes we figure out how to right a rhythm, my groups rhythm was   TA     TA     TA-DI     TA… We had to find different objects to make beats. Each person in our group had to make different beats with different instruments, and then blend them together. I had a bread bag, Graysen had his shoe and a Sandwich Bag and Mayon had a book box. What I think I could do better next time is try and find better instruments to make the sounds sound better. What I think I did well is communicate with my group. The challenges I faced were the instrument that I was using broke so I had to come up with another instrument to play.

Movie Festival

Kia ora for the past two weeks we have been doing movie making. We had to split into groups of 3 or 4. Our movie was about a robber stealing some phones from the office and we hired a detective to find out who stole the phones. What I think me and my group did well was learn our lines and know when to say them. What I think that our group could do better next time is get someone that has filmed a movie before so that they know what shot types to make. What I found difficult was working with my group because we chose to work with our friends and we also had 6 people in our group and we talked a lot.

Here is my movie.

This Weeks Panui

Kia ora this week in my Panui group we have been learning how to summarise a piece of text in our own words. What I think I did good was re read over the text to make sure that the answer I put into the questions was correct and that it made sense, what think I should have done better is to get the questions done faster.  Then we had to create a wanted poster for a character in the text ( Felix Von Luckner ) here is what I created.
